Nina was always drawing - cartoons, botanicals, landscapes - whatever was in front of her or in her imagination. Nina began creating her own greeting cards and personalized notecards that gained popularity. In 2007, she was asked to illustrate the children's book, Sargeant's Heaven, proceeds donated to charity.
Growing up surrounded by the beauty of Cape Cod, Nina developed an eye - and a heart - for all things summer. Building on her drawing foundation, Nina took on painting, experimenting in all medias. Her series Warm Light includes painting of lighthouses and beach umbrellas and is part of a gallery showing in Greenwich, Connnecticut.
Nina was inspired by the works of Andy Warhol to create Aisle 3: a collection of condiments painted with acrylics. Her first 9" x 12" Heinz ketchup bottle gave rise to her Instagram following. Nina has gone on to paint other iconic brands and has done several of these paintings on commission.
Nina has always found ways to give back to the community through her art by supporting non-profit organizations and schools, including The Family Center, Greenwich Community Gardens, and The Boys and Girls Club.
